Joseph E. Manirakiza

Joseph provides overall technical and administrative leadership in the Fund Management process in the areas of grants and contracts management, financial administration and operations. As Country Director Joseph coordinates all technical assistance support provided to the fund beneficiaries and liaises with various stakeholders of the Fund.

Revocatus Vedasto

Revocatus leads HDIF’s finance, accounting and operations function, managing resources that fuel our progress towards making an impact. As the Director of Finance and Operations he oversees a team dedicated to finance, accounting, human resources and office operations, serving as the senior resource for each of these functions.

Alexa DuPlessis

Alexa supports the HDIF team on external engagement, sharing learning from HDIF’s experience with partners and the wider innovation audience in Tanzania. She is passionate about engaging, funding, growing and supporting the innovation ecosystem to deliver value to Tanzania’s dynamic youth.

Gloria Maneno

Gloria is the first point of contact for visitors and callers to HDIF. She is also responsible for assisting senior management in day-day management of the office.

Muzafar Kaemdin

Overseeing the monitoring and evaluation work in the office, Muzafa r ensures quality deliverables for the HDIF programme, supporting grantees in managing their innovations better, and ensuring the HDIF logframe is on track and the team are hitting the goals.

Auson Komwihangilo

Auson focuses on continual improvement in the grant management processes, always ensuring that the grant management function is operating efficiently and effectively. He is also a Relationship Manager, working with a small number of the grantees who require strong financial oversight due to the size or risk profile of the grant.

Hannah Mwandoloma

Hannah drives the communications for HDIF, ensuring the newsletter goes out, social media content is on point and up to date, and supporting grantees as they reach out through the media. Her work is especially important for sharing learnings from the HDIF program in the national media and ensuring the media understand what innovation is, and how it benefits Tanzania.

Henry Mariwa

Henry is the programme’s designated driver. Henry holds a Class C driving license and has worked with a number of NGOs, ensuring their staff get safely from A to B.

Maria Guga

Maria manages HDIF’s financial payments and administration, supporting the Director of Finance to ensure the office runs smoothly.

Raymond Mwambete

Raymond plays a crucial role is grantee budget management and support, financial analysis and contributes to capacity building efforts for our grantees and Relationship Managers.

Claudette Jollebo

Claudette serves as liaison between HDIF and its grantees. She works with our grantees to help them improve their business performance to deliver on their objectives. She also takes the role of a trusted advisor by offering and providing access to technical advice as and when it is needed by the grantees.

Simon Mtabazi

Simon provides support to various outputs of the programme such as as M&E, Innovation Week and the Innovation Ecosystem Map projects. He is also part of Dar es Salaam Global Shapers hub and engaged in supporting young innovators at many of the innovation spaces/hubs in Tanzania.

Editha Mwanyika

Editha supports the Communication Specialist on social and national media outreach and content development, as well as events, photography and much more. On the program side Editha support MEL in documenting the results of the program and keeping a strict eye on the workplan to ensure we are delivering on time.

Eveline Nguma

Eveline is the liaison for the program on the monitoring and evaluation work, ensuring all the data is collected correctly and on time.

Rose maintains the cleanliness of the office space. She also assists the administration team with basic office duties including photocopying, scanning and filing and making sure the team are well fed!
